inward to obtain advice and knowledge. This form of information
retrieval and inner consultation can be easily adapted for use
in the context of today's world. This playshop will guide you
to reawaken these ancient skills to access the wisdom and support
that lies within. The playshop will cover basic shamanic journey
techniques, reconnect you with your spiritual guides and teachers,
and introduce you to the realms of the shamanic cosmology.

Creating
the Sacred Drum - A Drum Making Playshop
facilitated by Gary and Debbie Gent

This drum making playshop involves not only the
learning of a physical skill but also a journey into the realm
of Spirit. Ceremonies are done throughout the day to connect you
to the spirits of the elk and cedar tree as well as the spirit
of the drum. Making your drum in this way begins a relationship
of healing, learning and teaching between the person and the drum's
spirit, as it sings through the drum. Drums will be 15"
Elk hide with yellow cedar hoop.
